“After staying at home for two months, we can finally start work!”
At the Ezhou Railway Station in Hubei, Mr. Lin was dragging Carrying suitcases with their spouse and children, they lined up to enter the station. The reporter saw at the scene that thousands of migrant workers were queuing up in different carriages to wait for the train in an orderly manner. There were quite a few people like Mr. Lin with their families.
46-year-old Ms. Liu is also a passenger on this special train. She was saying goodbye to her family who came to see her off at the station square. \”On New Year\’s Eve this year, my family and I had a New Year\’s Eve dinner together in my hometown in the countryside. Due to the impact of the epidemic, we have never seen each other again,\” Ms. Liu said. She didn\’t expect that the meeting again after nearly two months would be in front of the train station taking her back to Shenzhen to resume work.
Ms. Zhang and her husband work in a company in Shenzhen, and today is also the day they set off to return to work. \”I can only work from home these two months, and the company will pay some minimum wages.\” Ms. Zhang said, \”I still want to go back to Shenzhen to work as soon as possible.\”
Today\’s return-to-work special train K4655 takes 14 hours to arrive in Shenzhen. Before departure, each migrant worker also received a love gift package from the local community or township. Ms. Zhang opened the gift bag and found two apples, two bottles of mineral water and two buckets of instant noodles. \”There aren\’t many things, but they are quite heart-warming.\” Ms. Zhang said.
In the station square, Hong Song, secretary of the Party Committee of Tingzu Town, Ezhou City, was bidding farewell to more than 300 migrant workers who were about to leave the town. The town sent them love gift packages. Hong Song told reporters that there are about 10,000 migrant workers in Tingzu Town. Through these five special trains, more than 800 people in the town have embarked on the road to return to work. Coupled with the different ways of traveling out of the province, such as chartered buses and self-driving, “all the migrant workers in the town who could go out have gone out.” Hong Song said.

For the information of returning migrant workers, focus on verifying ID cards, employment unit or community acceptance certificates, health codes, etc.
“Many township workers stayed up all night to sort out the information on work resumption needs and feedback it to the city as soon as possible.” Zhang Yi, director of the Ezhou Labor and Employment Center, recalled, “After figuring out the base number of migrant workers, we also actively contacted Guangdong , Zhejiang and other importing areas have established labor cooperation mechanisms to ensure that they can be sent out.”
On March 19, as the epidemic prevention and control situation gradually improved, Ezhou City became a low-risk area for the epidemic, and the resumption of work and production was imminent. .
