Hello everyone, I am Design Bear. In this issue, we talk about the differences between ordinary people and insiders when buying indoor sliding doors and the tricks involved. Next, I will explain it to you one by one.
Let\’s talk about it first. When ordinary people go to buy a sliding door, they usually touch the door first to see if the knot is strong, and then push and pull the door to see if it is tight. Smooth? If everything is okay and the style is good, I will ask the boss, how much does your sliding door cost per square meter? Then I started bargaining, and when I got the price I wanted, I paid for it. This is how we in the industry determine sliding doors. As soon as we enter the store, we will ask the merchant, what material are your sliding doors made of? Merchants will usually recommend broken bridge aluminum to us first, because the price is high and their profit margins are large. We will tell them that we are using it indoors and there is no need for such good materials. We can just replace it with aluminum-magnesium alloy. Then we will also ask the merchant, where are your sliding doors made? In order to pursue high profits, many bosses will sell products produced in Jiangxi and Hubei. The purchase price is low and the quality is relatively poor. Remember, no matter how the boss fools you, we only choose products produced in Foshan, Guangdong, so the quality is more guaranteed. Next we have to ask the boss, what is the thickness of the profile? Choosing 1.2 mm thickness is the most cost-effective. Of course, the thicker you choose, the better the quality, but the price will be higher. If you don’t have any special requirements, I recommend that you choose 1.2 mm, which is enough. Then we have to ask the boss what kind of glass we use? Many merchants give us double-layer insulating glass by default. Because it is expensive, it is actually a bit wasteful. Just choose single-layer tempered glass with the 3C mark. Remember to ask the merchant to apply explosion-proof film. When it comes to this, the merchant will basically think that you are an insider, so in the end you only need to confirm with the merchant that the handle should be made of aluminum alloy and the pulley should be fiberglass. We also need to ask the merchant to equip us with small accessories such as anti-balance wheels, buffers and sealing strips.
As a reminder, there are two ways to install sliding doors. One is the hanging rail, which is the top of the rail. The other is the ground track, which is on the ground. Although wall cabinets are beautiful, they are not durable. I recommend base cabinets more. Some people may think that base cabinets are difficult to maintain hygiene. You can choose to make dust-proof slides, which will not hide dust and are easy to clean.
If you buy sliding doors as mentioned above, you can basically buy them with good quality and low price. But some friends may have a limited budget and want to save some money. Let me share with you some money-saving tips. You can change the double-pack door cover into a single-cover door cover, which is more practical. If it is made with extremely narrow edges, you can just skip the door cover, which will produce good results and save money. Don’t underestimate the modification of this door cover, you can easily save 1,000 to 2,000 thousand.
The above are the points I have compiled for you to pay attention to when buying indoor sliding doors. You can make a note of it and forward it to friends who are planning to buy sliding doors.
