Recently, Ms. Li, a citizen, complained that since May last year, she passed by Jimei several times while running and exercising. The public toilets near Duishan Primary School wanted to be \”convenient\”, but they found that the public toilets were not open and there was no notice of opening hours at the door. The management unit explained that public toilets are equipped with automatic doors, and you can enter by pushing the door. (Taiwan Strait Network, April 14)
Obviously there are public toilets nearby, but some people may think that if they step forward and \”push\”, wouldn\’t the problem be solved? However, the author feels that such an interpretation is definitely not correct, because what is important here is whether the management details are fulfilled.
Since the opening hours of public toilets are from 6 am to 10 pm, it should not be difficult to post a notice or something to explain. Public toilets have automatic doors. By the way, wouldn\’t it be better if this makes it convenient for citizens and makes people feel thoughtful and attentive? After all, the automatic door is just a door. It will not \”automatically\” tell citizens relevant information. If the information is insufficient, citizens may indeed habitually \”do not enter unless you want to\”.
