The Guangzhou Art Museum, the only \”national first-class museum + national key art gallery\” in China, opened at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport not long ago. A branch was built (see picture above).
The Guangzhou Art Museum Baiyun International Airport Branch is located in the atrium on the first floor of Terminal 1 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. As the branch’s “first show” exhibition, the “Lingnan School Special Exhibition” has been officially launched.
The design of the Baiyun International Airport branch of the Art Museum is very exquisite: bypassing the fan-shaped antique light box in front of the branch, behind it is an exhibition area covering an area of 700 square meters. In the center of the exhibition area, the authentic display cabinets are decorated with red cotton and oriole bird patterns. The slatted doors, Manchurian windows, and fiery red kapok blooms reflect the Lingnan characteristics. The gray and white exhibition walls are staggered, giving you the feeling of walking on a steep winding mountain.
According to reports, this is the first art exhibition hall in Guangzhou that is open around the clock. It will break through time constraints and present art and culture in front of passengers. The exhibition hall is divided into a landmark landscape area, a work exhibition area, a tourist interaction area and a parent-child experience area to adapt to the different visitor groups at the airport.
The exhibition area will regularly hold theme exhibitions in different fields to provide tourists with diverse and rich artistic and cultural experiences. It is hoped that through diversified exhibitions, it will create the humanistic core of the airport and become the business card and window of the Guangzhou Art Museum.
